We’ve all heard of The Weeknd — you can’t deny that. Even those who are not fans of that kind of music or music in general, they all dance to ‘‘Blinding Lights’’.

The Weeknd released his fourth studio album ‘’After Hours’’ in March this year and people are loving it. The album was supported by three singles: “Heartless”, “Blinding Lights”, and “In Your Eyes”, with the two former topping the US Billboard Hot 100 and receiving platinum certification. The album is absolutely breaking all the records. So far, Blinging Lights is The Weeknd’s most streamed song on Spotify, firts song in history to spend 22 weeks at #1 on Radio Songs Charts, longest-running #1 on the Billboard R&B songs and more…

After Hours has won 2 MTV VMAs Awards, one for Best R&B song (Blinding Lights, of course) and Best R&B Album. Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) is a very special artist, and Elton John thinks so too. He called him mysterious figure from whom you never know what to expect next. That is rare in pop music and in general. It is also 100% true. He never does any kind of interviews and rarely post on social media about himself. The Weeknd uses social platforms only to promote his art which deserves a huge respect. Isn’t that the way it should be? One thing is for sure, whether you like it or not, Abel brought back 80s and we are here for it.
